Tragically, Megan's life was cut short by her estranged husband before she could realize her vision, so her family has continued her legacy of preventing relationship violence BEFORE it starts.

Come hear how Susann and Meredith transformed their unthinkable pain into purpose with an initial $15,000 donor advised fund that evolved into the Megan Montgomery Foundation to prevent domestic violence, with grants totaling $245,000 to colleges in just three years.

The foundation has received many accolades in its brief history, including The "Top Young Nonprofit" from the Birmingham Business Journal and the "Charitable Organization of the Year" from the Alabama Association of Fundraising Professionals.
